This apartment is located in a Khrushchev-era building on the top floor in Mykolaiv. It had been abandoned for some time and was home to pigeons before the renovation began. The owner was open to any necessary changes due to the apartment’s location in the historic center of the city.
The renovation process involved significant structural changes, including the removal of about 50 cm of old flooring and the installation of new windows. The entire building frame was also reinforced. The design seamlessly blends modern functionality with historical charm, maintaining the apartment’s connection to the past while adding contemporary features.
